# Changing Browser settings to enable the clipboard

First, you will need to enable the clipboard permissions to copy and paste information in the Designer in the Browser.

To achieve this:

**In Chrome:**

1. Select the <img src="/files/W41TtkNy773gAsXAageV" alt="" data-size="line"> icon at the top left of the browser address bar
2. Click the toggle beside 'Clipboard' to enable  ![](/files/uwLJgfK8lc8yeDpzrDp5)
3. Refresh the webpage

**In Edge**

1. **Select the** <img src="/files/KYSHXW8DGF1oW63t6OUs" alt="" data-size="line"> icon at the top left of the browser address bar
2. Click the "Permissions for this site" option <img src="/files/dQIV8jWGnOMhfwtppjWD" alt="" data-size="original">
3. Navigate and select the dropdown beside "Clipboard" and change from "Ask (default)" to "Allow"&#x20;
