Each time someone asks a question via the 'Ask AI' panel in the AI Query bUIlder component, it uses some of your monthly credit allowance. The AI Credits page shows how many credits you have used, how many remain, and which apps are using them. It is also where you create the access tokens that let you and your team connect apps to your credit pool. ### Accessing the AI Credits page View and manage your credits and access tokens from your workspace under **Settings → AI Credits**.
### Understanding your credit balance The top of the page shows your usage for the current month: * **Used Credits** shows how many credits you have used out of your monthly allowance, with a progress bar. * **Your credits renew on...** shows the date your allowance resets, and how many days away that is. * A banner gives you a plain-language read on your usage: whether you have plenty left, roughly how many days of credits remain at your current rate, or that you have not used any yet. If you think you will need more credits than your allowance, contact your account manager. ### Seeing which apps use credits Once you have some usage, a **Top apps by credits used** chart shows which of your apps are consuming the most credits. Use it to spot a single app driving most of your usage, or to check that consumption is spread the way you expect.
### Creating an access token An access token connects an app to your credit pool. When a builder pastes your token into the AI Query Builder, any AI questions asked in that app draw from your credits. Because one token can be used across several apps, you can share a single token with the people building for you. To create one: 1. In the **Access Tokens** section, click **Create New Token**. 2. Give the token a name so you can recognise it later. 3. Click **Create Token**. The new token appears in your list of active tokens.
### Managing access tokens Your tokens are shown under **Active Tokens** and **Disabled Tokens**. For each one you can see its name, its token value, and how many credits it has used this month. * **Copy a token** by clicking the copy icon next to it, ready to paste into the AI Query Builder. * **Disable a token** with its toggle to immediately stop it using any more credits. Apps using a disabled token can no longer ask AI questions until it is enabled again. * **Enable a disabled token** with its toggle to allow it to be used again. * **Archive a token** you no longer need. Archived tokens are removed from your lists.
### Using a token in the AI Query Builder Once you have a token, open your app, select the AI Query Builder component, and go to the **General** section of its properties. Paste the token into the **Access Token** field and click **Verify Token**. See AI Query Builder for the full setup. ### When your credits run out {% hint style="success" %} Your published apps keep working even after your monthly credits are used up. Any further AI questions are recorded as overage, so the people using your apps are never blocked. Overage usage shows up in your dashboard, and your account manager can talk you through your options. {% endhint %} ### Tips and common uses * **Name tokens by who or what uses them.** A clear name like "Agency partner" or "Sales dashboard" makes it easy to see where your credits are going and to disable the right one if needed. * **Use separate tokens for separate teams.** Giving each team or partner their own token lets you see their usage in the credits-used column and switch one off without affecting the others.
