Squirrel, by default, has a set of predefined fonts available to all Squirrel users. As of version 1.18, Squirrel can now import and use your fonts. This can be useful when creating projects that truly establish and reflect your brand and can seamlessly embed into webpages or presentations and not look out of place.
To import a font, follow these steps:
Within the Designer, navigate to the Start Page.
On the left-side panel, select the Custom Fonts tab.
Select the 'Upload Font' button - this will open the File Explorer
Navigate to and select the font file, then click Open
Compatible font file formats are TTF, OTF, and WOFF
After uploading your font, you will see it appear on the page just below the Upload button.
Below is the list of installed fonts and the list of Fallback fonts. If a font you have uploaded fails to load, you can set a fallback state here. A default fallback font will be set according to the type of font that is uploaded.
To change the default fallback state, select the 'Edit' buttons and select the dropdown to choose between Sans-serif or Serif.
