Templates

This article describes how to access a Squirrel Project template to load into the Squirrel Designer.

There's a library of templates that you can access for Squirrel. From base calculators to functioning applications, there's something to help get you started no matter your familiarity with the platform. All templates can also be accessed via https://marketplace.squirrel365.io/

All available templates are labeled with varying degrees of difficulty and any notes on subscription-level restrictions. You can still download these projects, however, any functionality that is not available on your current plan will not be available to use.

Accessing Templates

You can access the Squirrel templates in multiple ways, including through the Squirrel website or the Designer.

Squirrel Designer

To access the Squirrel Templates from the Designer, the steps are the following:

1. Open the Squirrel Designer app

2. On the Start page, navigate to and select the Templates page.

From here, you can search through and select any desired template and open it straight into the canvas to begin playing.

Designer in the Browser

1. Open the Squirrel Designer in a browser through https://app.squirrel365.io/dib/mainview

2. On the Start page, navigate to and select the Templates page.

Squirrel Website

1. Navigate to squirrel365.io in the browser

EITHER

1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Marketplace

2. Select the Templates tab at the top of the page

3. Search through and select a template

4. Click Download to download the template Squirrel file

OR

1. Select 'Login' at the top-right of the webpage

2. Sign in to your Squirrel Account Manager

3. Select Add-ons on the left-hand panel

4. Select the 'Visit Marketplace' button on the top yellow banner

5. Select the Templates tab at the top of the page

6. Search through and select a template

7. Click Download to download the template Squirrel file
